Larnaka: The Anthology (πρόσκληση σε συγγραφείς)

 

Giving voice to poems, stories and art from the literary heart of Cyprus.

Larnaca is home to a choir of voices that tell original poems, stories, music and sometimes tall tales. The languages of this multicultural and artistic city are just as varied – Greek, English, Turkish, Armenian, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, Italian – and all shades of human experience.

Now we want to collect and publish an anthology of poems, short stories and images to showcase the many voices of this extraordinary city, Larnaka. We are seeking submissions from writers, story tellers, poets and artists. Each submission should have some connection to Larnaca. Artists can contribute up to three pieces for consideration, to be included in this anthology due to be published in May 2021.

Poems can be in any language and should have no more than 40 lines. Stories should ideally be flash fiction, certainly no more than 1,000 words. All submissions should be digital only. Please message us for more details: larnakatheanthology@gmail.com
